The Time Machine

James has always been interested in building things that can travel through time. He has worked on his project for many months, using parts from old clocks and computers. Although his family sometimes worries about his strange hobby, they support his passion for learning. The machine, which looks like a small silver box, suddenly disappeared one evening after school. James, who felt completely lost, searched his entire room but found nothing. He realized he needed to locate it before dark because he had promised to show his teacher. Having checked every possible place, James sat down feeling stuck and afraid. He remembered taking the machine to the park to test it in an open space. Perhaps he had left it there on the grass near the big oak tree. James decided to return to the park immediately, although the sun was already setting. He ran quickly down the street, hoping to find his creation before nightfall. When he arrived, he saw something shiny under the tree where he had been sitting. It was his time machine, safe and waiting for him on the soft grass. James has learned an important lesson about being responsible for his belongings. He now keeps the machine in a special box that he built himself. This experience, although frightening, taught him to be more careful in the future. He has not taken the machine outside again because he understands the risks. James continues to work on his project, but he always does it inside his home. He dreams of traveling to the past one day to see beautiful historical places. For now, he is happy to learn and build in the safety of his own room.
