The Time Machine

Henry had always been fascinated by the concept of time travel, which is why he spent months building a complex device in his garage. Although his family worried about the dangers, he continued his work because he believed in his dream. He had finally completed the machine, a sleek silver box that hummed with energy, and he planned his first journey for the following weekend. Last Tuesday night, however, everything changed when he entered his workshop to run a final test. Discovering an empty space where his creation had been, Henry felt a wave of panic.
