Gulliver's Travels (Part 1)

Thomas has always enjoyed creating small worlds from natural materials he finds. He has built numerous tiny villages using stones, leaves, and twigs from the forest near his home. Although each village is surprisingly small, he feels a great sense of power and pride when he completes one. He imagines himself as the ruler, making decisions for the little houses and paths. Thomas has learned that building these models requires patience and careful planning. He sometimes feels afraid that his work will be destroyed by rain or wind. However, the process of building brings him more happiness than the finished product. Traveling through the woods to find perfect materials is an adventure he loves. He remembers one model, which was his most detailed creation, that took him a whole week to finish. Using a flat rock as a base, he constructed a kingdom with walls and a central tower. He was very proud of this power, though his whole kingdom fit on a single stone. This experience has taught him that importance does not always come from size. A truly good leader, he thinks, is someone who cares for their people. Thomas believes that real strength is shown through kindness and protection, not just control.
