CEC adaptation of a classic work first published in 1868–69, adapted into three reading levels.
The four March sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy, grow up in New England while their father is away at war. They share plays, chores, quarrels, and hard times, and each has her own dream. The story follows how they grow into young women while staying close as a family.
This book is a curriculum-driven intentional repeat: used at two grade levels (Grade 6 and Middle 2).
