What is a field mission?

A field mission is a mission done outside or on site. The crew goes to a place, observes carefully, collects information, and reports what they found.

field mission은 현장에서 하는 탐사 미션입니다. 대원은 장소로 가서 자세히 관찰하고, 정보를 모으고, 발견한 것을 보고합니다.

Observe and describe

Observe means look carefully. Describe means say what something is like. A science crew should describe color, shape, size, location, and change.

observe는 자세히 본다는 뜻입니다. describe는 어떤지 설명한다는 뜻입니다. 과학 대원은 색, 모양, 크기, 위치, 변화를 설명해야 합니다.

Sample and collect

A sample is a small part collected for study. The crew collects samples carefully and keeps them secure. A sample is useful only when the crew knows where it came from.

sample은 연구를 위해 모은 작은 표본입니다. 대원은 표본을 조심스럽게 모으고 안전하게 보관합니다. 표본은 어디에서 왔는지 알 때 더 의미가 있습니다.

Record data and evidence

Data is information from observation. Evidence supports a report. A careful record is more important than a big guess.
A good sample record can include place, time, color, size, and number.
A sample without a record can lose its science value.

data는 관찰에서 얻은 자료입니다. evidence는 보고를 뒷받침하는 증거입니다. 꼼꼼한 기록은 큰 추측보다 중요합니다.
좋은 표본 기록에는 장소, 시간, 색, 크기, 개수가 들어갈 수 있습니다.
기록이 없는 표본은 과학적 가치가 줄어들 수 있습니다.
