오늘의 본문 READING

Life is full of moments that seem small and unimportant at the time. However, a single brief meeting can sometimes determine the entire direction of a person's future. This is a story about a boy named Liam who has always felt lost and unsure about his path. One rainy afternoon, he decided to visit the old graveyard near his town. He often went there to think because the quiet atmosphere helped him clear his mind. Liam was a young boy who struggled to find his purpose in life. He walked slowly between the old stones, reading the names and dates that were carved into them. The sky was dark, and a cold wind made the trees whisper secrets. Suddenly, Liam noticed a man standing by a large, ancient tomb. The man wore a long coat and had a serious expression on his face. He was a stranger who seemed completely out of place in the quiet graveyard. Liam felt frightened, but his curiosity was stronger than his fear. He took a few steps closer to the mysterious figure. The man turned and looked directly at Liam with intense, knowing eyes. He did not speak at first, which made the moment even more tense. Then, he asked Liam a simple question about what he was searching for. That one brief conversation, which lasted only a few minutes, planted a seed in Liam's mind. Liam has thought about that question every day since their meeting. He now understands that the stranger's words quietly changed his entire perspective. Liam has started to investigate his own dreams with more courage because of that moment. He realizes that small encounters can have significant consequences for our lives.
