What is splashdown?
Splashdown means landing in water. The capsule may float after landing. The crew must move carefully and follow water survival steps.
splashdown은 물에 착륙하는 것입니다. 캡슐은 착수 후 물 위에 떠 있을 수 있습니다. 대원은 조심스럽게 움직이고 수상 생존 절차를 따라야 합니다.
Life jacket and raft
A life jacket helps a person float. A raft is a small floating boat for safety. The crew should stay with the raft because it is easier for rescue teams to see.
life jacket은 사람이 물에 뜨도록 도와줍니다. raft는 안전을 위한 작은 구명 뗏목입니다. 구조팀이 찾기 쉽도록 대원은 raft와 함께 있어야 합니다.
Stay together
Water can be cold and tiring. A crew that stays together can check each other and report together. Moving away alone can be dangerous.
In water, staying together is safer than swimming away.
The raft is easier to see than one person in the water.
The crew should save energy and wait for rescue.

Signal and rescue
A rescue signal helps the rescue team find the crew. The crew reports if everyone is safe, if anyone is cold, and if rescue is needed now.
구조 신호는 구조팀이 대원을 찾도록 돕습니다. 대원은 모두 안전한지, 누가 추운지, 지금 구조가 필요한지 보고합니다.
