Gulliver's Travels (Part 1)

Thomas has always loved adventures, and he has built several boats to explore nearby lakes. Last summer, he decided to embark on a longer journey, sailing alone across the calm sea. After two weeks of travel, he discovered a small, green island covered with unusual flowers. Living there, he met a community of people who had created a beautiful village from natural materials. They welcomed Thomas, sharing their food and teaching him their songs, which told stories about the stars. Having learned so much, Thomas felt it was time to return home. He sailed back, his mind full of the incredible things he had witnessed. When he told his neighbors what he had seen, however, they did not believe his tales. They thought his stories were too fantastic to be real, laughing at the descriptions of what he had experienced. Although Thomas felt disappointed, he understood their doubt. Sometimes, people find it difficult to accept stories that are very different from their normal life. Thomas has kept a detailed journal, hoping that someone will believe his amazing adventure one day.
